Hans Dominik (1872 - 1945) ist ein deutscher Science-Fiction- und Sachbuchautor, Wissenschaftsjournalist und Ingenieur.
Populär wurde er vor allem mit seinen insgesamt siebzehn technisch-utopischen Romanen, die zwischen 1921 und 1939 heraus kamen. Für sie begeisterten sich ganze Generationen, vor allem junge Leser, bis in die Nachkriegsjahre. Einige seiner Romane erreichten Auflagen von mehr als 100.000, was für Science Fiction äußerst selten war. Die Gesamtauflage wird auf mehr als 4 Millionen geschätzt.
